Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern the use of the AlpStats.ch web-analytics service, provided by Pixelized.ch Sagl, Lugano, Switzerland (CHE-112.187.897). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.
1. The service
AlpStats.ch is a cookieless, privacy-first web-analytics service. It collects anonymous usage statistics for the websites you register and makes them available in a dashboard and through a read API. Details of data handling are in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
2. Account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials and read tokens confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be authorised to add each site you register.
3. Subscriptions, prices and payment
Subscriptions are per site and, at launch, annual. Prices are shown in CHF, EUR or USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated. A 30-day free trial is available once per domain. Payment is handled by Stripe (card and, where enabled, TWINT). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period using the saved payment method, until cancelled. We may change prices for future periods with reasonable notice.
4. Cancellation, plan changes and refunds
You can cancel at any time from within the app; access continues until the end of the paid period and then does not renew. You can upgrade at any time (effective immediately, prorated) and downgrade at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, whether in full or pro rata.
5. Usage limits (pageview cap)
Each plan includes a monthly pageview allowance (measured over a rolling 30-day window). If a site exceeds it you will receive warnings; after a tolerance period of continued overage, visibility of that site's statistics may be suspended (in the dashboard and API) until you move to a suitable plan. Data collection continues regardless, so nothing is lost.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service lawfully and only for sites you are entitled to measure. You must inform your own visitors as required by applicable data-protection law and, where relevant, reference AlpStats.ch in your privacy policy (we provide a ready-made clause in the DPA). You must not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent limits, or upload unlawful content.
7. Your data and its lifecycle
The statistics collected for your sites are yours. We process them on your behalf as described in the DPA. After a subscription ends: on cancellation, collection stops at the end of the period and the collected data is kept for a retention window and then deleted; on non-payment, access stops but collection continues for a grace window (in case you return), then stops, and data is deleted after a longer window. Billing records are retained as required by law.
8. Availability
We aim for high availability, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without a guaranteed service level. Routine maintenance is normally announced with reasonable notice; urgent or extraordinary maintenance may take place without notice. We may also modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not responsible for interruptions or malfunctions caused by third parties (for example the Infomaniak hosting infrastructure, connectivity or the Internet, or the payment provider Stripe) or by events of force majeure or otherwise beyond our reasonable control.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixelized.ch Sagl is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the affected site in the 12 months before the event. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Intellectual property
The service, its software and brand remain ours. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of your subscription.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version and material changes will be communicated through the service. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Lugano, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply to you.
